Tommy’s “Crooked Man” international tour received rave reviews. The gloriously funny and life affirming material signalled the comedian at his finest. And so, for the particular performance Tommy wanted to do something special, something that had never been done in Ireland before and was true to the art of stand up, to shoot a stand up comedy show on film.

In collaboration with British director Richard Ayoade Tommy returned to an intimate venue that has played a big part in his career, City Limits, Cork, Ireland. This performance, recorded on eight motion film cameras, perfectly captures the passion and vitality of Tommy’s live show, where the themes are explored that will make you laugh harder than you’d ever believe.
